About the Archive
The Surface Water Archive contains rainfall, water level, streamflow, and salinity
data collected from a network of surfacewater monitoring sites located throughout
South Australia. Diffferent reports and plots are available for different data types
(variables) and are set out in the report page under the appropriate data type segment.
All photos and downloadable data files are combined into the site 'Photos and Downloadable
Data Files' segment of the site report page.

How to use this data system
Using and obtaining data through this system is straight forward. To find a site
within a particular area of interest, navigate through the locality maps provided,
then click on the site indicator to view available reports plots and data. Alternatively,
if you know the name or number of a particular site, it can be selected from the
drop-down lists.

Data accuracy and other considerations
At any site, data is generally collected for a specific purpose and as such, the
methods used to record the data need to be considered before the data is used.
